Iran Suspends IAEA Access After US, Israeli Strikes

Iran has officially suspended cooperation with the UN's nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, following recent military strikes by the U.S. and Israel. The U.S. condemned the move as "unacceptable," emphasizing the need for transparency.

The new Iranian law restricts IAEA inspectors from accessing nuclear sites without special approval from Iran's Supreme National Security Council. Although inspectors remain in Iran, their work has been halted.

Iran argues the decision protects its sovereignty and accuses the IAEA of relying on "misleading" Israeli intelligence. The suspension follows a ceasefire agreement after a 12-day conflict. (INN/VFI News)
