IDF Killed Hezbollah Terror Chief Nasrallah in Strike on His Beirut Bunker
Long-time Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and other top commanders of the terror group were killed in a massive Israeli airstrike on their underground headquarters in the Lebanese capital of Beirut, the IDF announced Saturday morning, September 28, as Israel sought to dramatically upend the year-long conflict.
Hezbollah confirmed his death several hours later. The announcement came as the Israeli military ramped up its airstrikes against Hezbollah assets in Beirut and other areas in Lebanon, hours after Nasrallah was struck at the terror group’s main headquarters, leaving parts of the Lebanese capital shrouded in smoke and dust.
Israel has eliminated much of the Hezbollah terror group’s most senior leadership in recent weeks. In a statement, the IDF said that alongside Nasrallah, the commander of Hezbollah’s so-called Southern Front, Ali Karaki — who survived a recent assassination attempt — was also killed in the Friday afternoon strike, along with other top commanders in the terror group.
Nasrallah was targeted by dozens of bunker-busting bombs dropped by Israeli Force fighter jets while at Hezbollah’s main headquarters in the southern suburbs of Beirut, a Hezbollah stronghold known as the Dahiyeh.
The headquarters were located underground, beneath residential buildings in the Dahiyeh, the IDF said, and later announced that the name of the operation was called “New Order.” (TOI / VFI News)

How Israel Tracked and Killed Hezbollah Leader Nasrallah
The massive airstrike that killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was the result of a years-long operation by Israeli intelligence that penetrated the terror leader’s entire network — allowing him to be tracked to his underground command center in Beirut.
The Israeli military then used 80 tons of specially designed bunker-busting bombs to blast through the heavily fortified hideout on Friday, September 27, and kill the slippery Nasrallah — who has survived multiple previous assassination attempts.
Unbeknownst to Nasrallah, Israeli intelligence was well aware of the movements of Hezbollah’s leadership following years of hacking and surveillance work on the Lebanese terror group.
The Jewish state was hacking into the terror group’s communication devices, with spies able to track down the exact movements of Hezbollah’s operatives — sometimes through their wives’ cell phones. Israel’s spies also tracked Hezbollah leaders’ movements by hacking surveillance cameras in Lebanon, and even reading their cars’ odometers.
According to other sources, a man, who originally came from Iran, shook the hand of Nasrallah and managed to smear a substance on him that allowed Israel to track him, as reported on Sunday evening on Saudi media. (NYP / VFI News)

Iran’s Khamenei Calls on Muslims to Confront Israel, Vows to Avenge Nasrallah While Running to Secure Location
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed on Saturday, September 28, to avenge the killing by Israel of Hassan Nasrallah, in a statement that was released as he was transferred to a secure location inside the country amid heightened security measures.
“The blood of the martyr shall not go unavenged,” Khamenei said in the statement, in which he announced five days of mourning to mark Nasrallah’s death.
The move to safeguard Iran’s top decision-maker, confirmed to British media by sources who spoke anonymously, was the latest show of nervousness by the Iranian authorities.
Khamenei also called on Muslims “to stand by the people of Lebanon and the proud Hezbollah with whatever means they have and assist them in confronting the… wicked regime [of Israel].”
“The massacre of the defenseless people in Lebanon once again revealed the ferocity of the Zionist rabid dog to everyone, and proved the shortsighted and stupid policy of the leaders of the usurping regime,” he was also reported saying. (TOI / VFI News)

We pray that Your Will be done in all circumstances and we thank You for Your ample protection and unconditional love.”
Military Wing of Hamas Defeated, Organization Operating As Guerilla Group, IDF Says
The IDF claimed that the military wing of Hamas has been defeated and the group is now operating as a guerilla organization, Israeli media reported on Friday, September 27, citing unnamed IDF sources.
At the UN General Assembly on Friday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israeli forces have destroyed “nearly all of Hamas’s terror battalions - 23 out of 24 now.”
“To complete our victory, we are focused on mopping up Hamas's remaining fighting capabilities,” he continued, noting that the IDF “is taking out senior commanders and destroying terrorist infrastructure.”
Despite the report that Hamas functions as a guerilla organization, the prime minister said the same day that the terrorist group “still has some governing power in the Gaza Strip,” - stating that Hamas terrorists steal food meant for Gaza’s civilian population.
One of the latest updates in the war is the death of a head of a Hamas network in southern Syria who was killed in an airstrike Friday overnight. Ahmed Muhammad Fahd, was responsible for directing attacks on troops and against the country, mostly with rocket fire on the Golan Heights.
Further, a kilometer-long tunnel was recently located and demolished in the central Gaza Strip, the IDF announced. The tunnel, which the military says was built under a civilian area and close to several homes, was found by troops of the 5th Brigade and combat engineers, including members of the elite Yahalom Combat Engineering Unit. IDF Hits Houthis with Most Powerful Strike of War
The IDF’s strike against Yemen’s Houthis on Sunday, September 29, was the most powerful one against the terror group since the beginning of the war, even exceeding the massive strike on Hodeidah in July, sources told Israeli media ahead of the IDF announcement.
Dozens of Israeli aircraft, including F-15I fighter planes, participated in the operation, striking 1,800 kilometers from Israeli territory after the Houthis fired three ballistic missiles on the Tel Aviv and central Israel areas in recent weeks, including one on Saturday.
The Houthi Health Ministry said the attack resulted in the deaths of four fighters and the wounding of 29, without any attempt to distinguish between Houthi members and civilians.
According to a Hezbollah-affiliated outlet and confirmed by the IDF, the targets of the strikes were oil reserves in Ras Issa and also the port of Hodeidah.
Additional targets included power plants and a seaport used to import oil, which the Houthis used to transfer Iranian weapons to the region, in addition to military supplies and oil, IDF reported. (JPost / VFI News)
Hamas Terrorists Murdered Gazan Mother After Refusing to Give Charity Funds
Hamas terrorists on Thursday, September 26, killed Islam Hijazi — program director of the Heal Palestine organization working to medically support the Strip — near a hospital in Khan Younis, after she refused to hand charity funds she collected over to the terror group.
According to eyewitnesses, three masked Hamas terrorists stopped Hijazi’s car Thursday overnight and fired around 90 bullets at her while she was on her way to visit patients. Gazan reports noted that the motive for the murder was Hamas operatives’ takeover of large portions of the aid and funds entering the Strip via donations.
“Islam was a mother of two young children, a humane woman with the highest level of ethics and professionalism. She stayed in Gaza intentionally to help others. She always said, ‘I’m staying here to help our people,’” The NGO said in a statement following the murder.
Iyad Khader, a Gaza resident, posted on social media: “A mafia has recently been established in the southern part of the Strip to loot, kill, steal and terrorize the residents. War must declare war on them immediately.”
“This isn’t the first of such a case,” said Hussein Jamal, a political researcher from Gaza. “The truth is that civilians are murdered daily and no one talks about it. Hijazi was unfortunately well-known; otherwise, no one would have known the circumstances or details of her death.” (YNet / VFI News)
“Dear God, we send our sincerest condolences to the family of Islam Hijazi and we pray that they will be comforted. We pray for an end to all the violence and the full surrender or dismantlement of the Hamas terrorist organization that still wreaks havoc in our country. We pray in Yeshua’s name that it will not be able to harm anyone else and that You will cause the terrorists to release all of our hostages as soon as possible.”
Danon to UNSC: PA's Failure to Control Terror in Judea and Samaria Shows It Can't Be Trusted with Gaza
Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon blasted the Palestinian Authority’s leadership in his remarks before the Security Council on Friday afternoon, September 27, for failing to distinguish itself from Hamas and expecting a role in the governing of a post-war Gaza.
Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa left the room as Danon spoke. “But I planned to ask him, how can you stay silent?” Danon said of Mustafa. “How can you, as a bold representative of your people, remain speechless in the faith of such barbarity. Why do you refuse? You refuse to condemn Hamas and the atrocities.”
According to Danon, Mustafa did not mention Hamas in his remarks before the Security Council, and neither did President Mahmoud Abbas in his remarks on Thursday before the General Assembly.
Danon accused both Mustafa and Abbas of wasting a “clear opportunity” to distinguish PA from Hamas and present it to the world as an “oderate, reasonable body seeking a peaceful future.”
“However, the Palestinian Authority has no interest in that future,” he said. Danon continued, accusing the PA of protecting Hamas instead of confronting them and encouraging terrorism through “pay to slay.” Danon said that’s a betrayal of Israelis and the Palestinian people whose future is “being sold off for violence.” (JPost / VFI News)
“Our Heavenly Father, we pray for the future of the Israeli and Palestinian people. We pray in Yeshua’s name that Hamas will be completely dismantled and that no leader with terrorist affiliations will ever be allowed to reign in our country. We trust in You and we hope that You will guide all our leaders to make the best decisions regarding the future of our country and its peoples.”
Netanyahu Slams UN General Assembly
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denounced the UN General Assembly as a “swamp of antisemitic bile” during a fiery address on Friday morning, September 27, as dozens of diplomats walked out in protest ahead of the speech.
Netanyahu appeared at the annual UN gathering in New York shortly before the one-year anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attack on southern Israel and the subsequent Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip.
He accused the UN of being a “swamp of antisemitic bile” that is “willing to demonize the Jewish state for anything.” He also called the organization an “anti-Israel flat-earth society.”
The Likud party leader slammed the International Criminal Court’s allegations that Israel has deliberately targeted civilians in Gaza as the product of “profound moral confusion.”
He also had harsh words for the thousands of anti-Israel protesters who mobilized across the world over the past 11 months. “Don’t they realize they support the Iranian-backed goons in Tehran and in Gaza, the goons who shot down protesters, murder women for not covering their hair and hang gays in public squares? Some progressives.”
Netanyahu also directly called out the Iranian government for backing terror groups, including Hamas, and mentioned how Tehran directly attacked Israel for the first time in April this year. “I have a message for the tyrants of Tehran: If you strike us, we will strike you,” Netanyahu warned.
