Iran Launched Hundreds of Ballistic Missiles at Israel
Israelis were instructed to seek immediate shelter on Tuesday, October 1, as Iran launched a widespread missile strike on the country, while Hezbollah simultaneously fired rockets into vast areas of Israel. Sirens began flaring shortly after 7:30 p.m. local time, with 10 million residents called to take shelter from the assault that left missiles and shapnel hitting Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and other major cities.
The attack prompted the suspension of all flights at Ben Gurion Airport. A rocket reportedly struck a building in northern Tel Aviv. A second, larger wave of missiles followed approximately 15 minutes after the initial barrage.
Shortly after the missile strikes, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard released a statement claiming the attack was in retaliation for the “martyrdom” of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Iranian Quds Force commander in Lebanon Abbas Nilforoushan.
Israel has vowed vengeance after the Iranian launch of about 200 ballistic missiles. Despite this attack having more impact than the earlier strike in April — a Jewish school was among the places badly damaged — there were very few casualties. Two Israelis were injured and the only death was a Palestinian man in Judea and Samaria who was crushed by an intercepted missile.
“The attack appears to have been defeated and ineffective,” US President Joe Biden said following the barrage where two American destroyers helped intercept the missiles. “Make no mistake the United States is fully, fully, fully supportive of Israel.” (NYP / VFI News)

Seven Murdered in Shooting Attack in Jaffa
Seven people were murdered and 12 others wounded in a shooting attack at the train station in the city of Jaffa on Tuesday evening, October 1.
Among the victims are a man and a woman in their 20s, a 17-year-old girl, two 30-year-old women and a 30-year-old man. Inbar Segev Vigder, Shahar Goldman, Revital Bronstein, Nadia Sokalenko, and Ilya Nozadze from Georgia, were among the ones murdered.
Magen David Adom EMTs and paramedics provided medical treatment and evacuated 12 injured victims to Ichilov, Wolfson, and Sheba-Tel Hashomer hospitals, including six people who were seriously injured, four who were moderately injured, and two who were lightly injured.
According to preliminary reports, two terrorists got off the light rail on Jerusalem Boulevard, pulled out pistols or rifles, and opened fire on civilians. Security forces responded, arrived to find the shooting in progress, returned fire, and struck at least one of the attackers.
“We know their origin and are conducting further checks with the Shin Bet,” Tel Aviv District Commander Haim Sargrof said of the suspects. “They are not Israeli citizens.” (INN / VFI News)
“Lord, we pray for the families of the murdered civilians and we ask that You comfort them and keep them in Your loving embrace. We send our heartfelt condolences to them and we pray in Yeshua’s name that You do not leave their side and that You offer them Your peace which surpasses all understanding. We also pray for all the wounded and hope that they recover physically and emotionally as soon as possible. May You protect all of our people and handle the terrorists wreaking havoc in Israel.”
Israeli Troops 'Killed in Ambush' Near Hezbollah Terror Tunnel After Militants Unleashed Wave of 100 Rockets
At least one Israeli soldier was killed on Wednesday morning, October 2, when his unit was ambushed by a contingent of Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon, hours after the group launched more than 100 rockets into Israel.
Sources told British media that a commando unit sustained multiple casualties when they were ambushed as they approached a tunnel close to Adaisseh. The fallen soldier was named Captain Eitan Itzhak Oster, 22, a member of the Egoz commando unit.
The Iran-backed group’s media officer Mohammad Afif insisted the group was only in ‘round one’ of its fight against the IDF and sought to dispel speculation that it had been weakened by ongoing Israeli attacks.
“Our forces and resistance are fully prepared to confront and resist the enemy. I tell everyone that the resistance is fine and the command and control system is fine. What happened in Misgav Am, Maroun al-Ras, and Adaisseh today is only the beginning,” he said.
It comes as the IDF presses on with its bombardment of Hezbollah positions across Lebanon, with at least five powerful explosions rocking southern Beirut Wednesday morning. Hundreds of thousands of Lebanese civilians are fleeing north while foreign nationals are rushing to escape the country after the IDF warned those living in the south to evacuate their homes. “Our Heavenly Father, we know that You love the meek and the peacemakers and we ask that You help us achieve permanent peace in the land You have given us. We pray in Yeshua’s name that despite this seeming impossible currently, peace will prevail and all hostilities will end soon in our country. We offer our sincerest condolences to the family of Captain Eitan Itzhak Oster and we trust that You will comfort them. You are close to the broken-hearted and we thank You for Your Love and protection.”
Yazidi Girl Fawzia Amin Sido, Taken by ISIS at Age 11 and Held by a Hamas-ISIS Member for 10 Years Was Rescued by Israel
A young girl kidnapped by ISIS terrorists at age 11 and then held by Hamas for a decade has been rescued by Israeli forces in Gaza after a months-long operation led by the US, officials said on Thursday, October 3.
“Fawzia, a Yazidi girl kidnapped by ISIS from Iraq and brought to Gaza at just 11 years old, has finally been rescued by the Israeli security forces,” tweeted David Saranga, the director of the digital diplomacy bureau at Israel’s foreign ministry.
“For years, she was held captive by a Palestinian Hamas-ISIS member. She has now been reunited with her family. “Her story is a reminder of the brutality faced by Yazidi children, taken without a choice,” he wrote of the more than 6,000 Yazidis captured by ISIS in 2014, including many sold into sexual slavery or trained as child soldiers. Of those, roughly 3,500 have been rescued or freed in the years since.
Sido had been snatched from her home back in 2014. The young girl was quickly sold off and trafficked to Gaza, where she was held captive for the next 10 years.
It wasn’t immediately clear exactly how she was released. A State Department spokesperson only said Sido’s captor had recently been killed, which allowed her to seek repatriation. The rescue operation also involved Israel, Jordan, and Iraq, according to officials. (NYP / VFI News)
“Dear God, we pray for all the Yazidi hostages who have not been released yet. We pray that whatever situation they are in, You will protect them from further harm, strengthen them, and mediate their release, permanent safety, and emotional security. We are extremely glad and grateful that Fawzia Amin Sido has been rescued and we pray in Yeshua’s name for the same outcome for all of ISIS and Hamas hostages who have been facing unimaginable atrocities for years.”

Terrorists Responsible for Murder of 12 Children and Ramallah Lynching Were Killed by IAF
The IDF announced on Wednesday, October 2, that it had killed Hezbollah terrorist Khider al-Shaebia, whom it held responsible for a rocket attack in July that killed 12 Israeli Druze children on a playground.
The IDF said in a statement: “On July 27, 2024, the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon fired a rocket with fifty-three kilograms of explosives at a soccer field in Majdal Shams in northern Israel. The rocket fire killed 12 innocent children playing soccer on a Saturday evening.”
“Yesterday (Wednesday), acting on IDF intelligence, IAF fighter jets eliminated Khider al-Shaebia, the terrorist who was responsible for the attack in Majdal Shams. Khider commanded the Har Dov area in the Hezbollah terrorist organization.”
“Khider was also responsible for hundreds of rocket and anti-tank missile launches at IDF posts in the area of Har Dov, Mount Hermon, and the northern Golan Heights.”
Furthermore, Aziz Salha, one of the perpetrators of the Ramallah lynching in 2000, was killed in an IAF strike in central Gaza, the IDF reported on Thursday. Salha became famous for waving his hands out the window that were covered in the blood of two IDF reserve soldiers that he and other perpetrators of the lynching had murdered. (BB / VFI News)

More of Hezbollah Atrocities Unveiled
Photos of Syrians celebrating the assassination of Hezbollah terrorist leader Hassan Nasrallah last week put the spotlight on the brutal activities of the terror group’s role in sexual slavery, mass starvation, and kidnappings in the Syrian civil war which led to the deaths of over half a million Syrians.
A new investigative video series by the Center for Peace Communications (CPC) shines a rare light on Hezbollah’s role in sexual slavery, rape, and mass murder.
CPC President Joseph Braude told American media that “Hezbollah’s war on Israel obscures its larger war to subjugate much of the region — as a tyrant in Lebanon, an occupier in Syria, a mafia of sex and drug trafficking, and the nerve center of Iran’s Arab empire. Millions of Arabs whose lives have been shattered by the militia want a different future. Hezbollah does not want the world to hear their voices.”
Meanwhile, the IDF unveiled prior Hezbollah preparations to invade northern Israel in 70 covert Lebanon raids. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah’s plan was for Radwan units numbering 4,000 to 6,000 men, disguised as civilians, to enter the area where equipment had been placed awaiting them to invade border area communities and abduct soldiers.
They were divided into groups, each numbering hundreds in battalions responsible for specific locations along the 135-kilometer (84 miles) border from the shore to the foothills of the Golan Heights. The military has since assured that “the soldiers identified and breached underground access points near the border area, exposed extensive weapon caches, assembly areas for terrorist operative operations, and more.” (FN / VFI News)

Shin Bet, IDF, Thwart Over 1,200 Terror Attacks Across Israel Since October 2023
Since the Israel-Hamas War began on October 7, 2023, the Shin Bet and IDF have thwarted over 1,200 significant terror attacks, according to defense establishment data.
The high number of thwarted terror attacks includes approximately 900 shooting terror attacks and around 290 explosive terror attacks. This is more than double the number of thwarted attacks in many previous years.
For comparison, 1,032 significant attacks were thwarted in 2023, and 472 significant attacks were prevented in 2022.
The Shin Bet regularly receives dozens of warnings about potential terror attacks from various sectors, particularly in Judea and Samaria. Now, the agency is concerned about the potential of copycat attacks inspired by the terror attack in Jaffa on Tuesday, October 1.
The defense establishment has identified an increase in the boldness and quality of attacks from Judea and Samaria despite a decrease in the overall number of attacks. The Shin Bet and IDF are continuing arrests in Judea and Samaria and conducting operations in refugee camps to address the growing presence of local militias. (JPost / VFI News)

Cuba and Venezuela Stand with Iran After Missile Attack on Israel
The authoritarian regimes of Cuba and Venezuela expressed support for Iran after its missile attack on Israel on Tuesday, October, 1.
Cuba’s communist Castro regime, through its Foreign Ministry, released a statement on Tuesday calling for a stop to alleged “Israeli aggression in the Middle East.”
The statement expressed Cuba’s “solidarity with the nations attacked by Israel” and asserted that Havana has been warning of the “danger of further escalation in the Middle East” as a result of the “aggressiveness and impunity with which Israel acts.”
Similarly, the Venezuelan socialist regime’s Foreign Ministry released an official statement on Wednesday stating that it is following the events in the Middle East after Iran’s “legitimate defense against threats and crimes of the Israeli regime.”
Meanwhile, Israel’s foreign minister declared UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres “persona non grata” and was henceforth banning him from entering Israel. The ban on entry, said FM Israel Katz, was due to Guterres’s failure to “unequivocally condemn” Iran’s massive missile attack on Israel. (BB / VFI News)
