IDF: Possible Attacks on Israel Within 24 Hours, New Restrictions on Haifa and North

The IDF on Saturday night, September 21, issued new home front restrictions on Haifa and any part of the country northward in anticipation of a potential large Hezbollah attack, following Israel’s attacks over the weekend against over 400 Hezbollah rocket launchers and many thousands of rockets.

Since Thursday, the military has carried out at least three major waves of attacks, each of which destroyed a hundred or more rocket launchers, including one over Thursday-Friday and two on Saturday.

According to the IDF, these attacks are heavily harming Hezbollah’s ability and attempts to attack Israel. At the same time, the terrorist group still maintains a massive arsenal, including SCUD missiles, other long-range precision rockets that can potentially hit all of Israel, medium-range rockets that can hit Haifa and northward, and short-range rockets and drones that it has used to ravage the Upper Galilee and Golan Heights for nearly a year.

The new home front restrictions mean that from Haifa and northward, gatherings are limited to 30 people outdoors and 300 indoors.

There are no changes southward of Haifa at this time, but this could change at any time based on upcoming Hezbollah attacks. IDF chief spokesman R.-Adm. Daniel Hagari refused to commit either to a full invasion of northern Lebanon imminently or that the IDF would refrain from this. (JPost / VFI News)

“Lord, we pray for protection over our northern border. We pray in Yeshua’s name that You cause our enemies to not pursue any attacks against our nation. We also pray that You guide our soldiers, alert and prepare them to thwart any strikes in all circumstances. We lean on You, cast our anxieties to You, and ask for Your Fatherly protection and care. We thank You for all You do for us and are extremely grateful for our brave soldiers who battle every day for our people. May You protect them and help them return safely.”

IDF Confirms: Heads of Hezbollah's Elite Radwan Force Eliminated

On Friday, September 20, in a precise strike, IAF jets guided by the Intelligence Directorate, targeted and eliminated Ibrahim Aqil, head of operations and commander of the Radwan Force of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, during a meeting with Radwan Force commanders in the Dahieh neighborhood of Beirut.

In addition to Aqil, 15 other Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated in the strike, including senior commanders in the Radwan Force chain of command.

Among the terrorists eliminated, was Abu Hassan Samir, who served as the head of the Radwan Force training unit. He was commander of the Radwan Force for a decade until early 2024.

Additionally, commanders and senior officials in the organization and within the Radwan Force headquarters were eliminated. These commanders had been leading and planning the Radwan Force’s attack and infiltration plan into Israeli territory for years, to be executed when given the order.

Aqil and the commanders eliminated in the strike were responsible for planning, advancing, and executing hundreds of terrorist operations against Israel. The IDF also said that Aquil was overseeing a planned operation to invade the Galilee.

The IDF reported, “Following the sirens that sounded throughout the past day in the areas of the Upper Galilee, Golan Heights, and Safed area, approximately 90 projectile launches were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Over the past hours, the IAF struck thousands of launcher barrels that were ready for immediate use to fire toward Israeli territory.” (INN / VFI News)

Israel’s War Front Shifts Dramatically to North Against Hezbollah Terrorists

Signs of a third full-blown war between Israel and Hezbollah are rapidly solidifying. Israel has fought two previous wars against terrorist forces embedded in Lebanon, in 1982 and 2006, and a third war appears to be looming.

The IDF re-deployed its elite and battle-tested 98th Division from the southern war theater in Gaza against Hamas to the north, in a possible prelude to what some say could be a ground invasion to root out Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon.

IDF Reserve Brig. Gen. Amir Avivi told American media that war in the north against Hezbollah is around the corner. “A few weeks ago it was clear that, due to the fact that Israel had destroyed most of Hamas’ forces, Hamas does not pose a serious threat to Israel anymore. This was a moment to decide to change the strategy and move the center of gravity from the south to north.”

Jonathan Conricus, however, a former IDF spokesman told the news outlet that “Had Israel wanted to launch a full-blown offensive against the Iranian proxy in Lebanon, it wouldn’t have waited more than 11 months to do so. The IDF is striking launchers and military infrastructure in Lebanon, after having delivered a stunning and demoralizing blow by causing communication devices to explode, in what perhaps is the last effort by Israel to apply pressure on Hezbollah to agree to a diplomatic deal that can prevent a war.” (FN / VFI News)

“Our Heavenly Father, we pray for permanent peace to be established in the country You have generously given us. We continually pray in Yeshua’s name for the security of all our borders and for the enemies’ plans to fail. We seek Your counsel, guidance, and will, we know that You are always there in our time of need and we thank You for that. Let Your Will be done, for You alone hold all the power and the glory.”

Two Terrorists Who Held Hostages Eliminated

IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari on Saturday night, September 21, reported that the IDF eliminated two of the terrorists who killed six Israeli hostages held captive in Gaza.

During a live update, Hagari said, “In Gaza, we continue operating to dismantle Hamas’ military wing. We have not forgotten, even for a moment, the hostages, and we are doing everything possible to bring them home.”

“This evening, we updated the families of Hersh, Eden, Ori, Alex, Almog, and Carmel, may their memories be a blessing, that we eliminated two terrorists who had held them hostage in a tunnel in the Rafah area.”

“The day after the hostages were murdered, troops from the 162nd Division identified two terrorists emerging from an underground tunnel shaft in the Tel al-Sultan area and eliminated them during an encounter. After investigating the findings from the tunnel and equipment on the terrorists, we found DNA evidence and several items belonging to the terrorists we eliminated.”

“Based on the findings and the information available to us, these terrorists that were eliminated were the same terrorists who were in the tunnel where the bodies of the six hostages were discovered.”

“The findings show they were there when they were murdered and we are investigating their involvement in the murder. Should we obtain further information, we will first update the families and then the public.” (INN / VFI News)

“Dear God, we fervently pray for all the remaining hostages who are almost one year in Hamas’s lair. We pray in Yeshua’s name that You strengthen them and take care of all their physical needs. We continue to pray for the families of the murdered hostages and hope that they turn to You and find peace and comfort in Your embrace.”

President Herzog: 'We Did Not Want This War, But We Are Entitled to Live'

President Isaac Herzog tweeted about the growing tensions in northern Israel and the recent offensives against Hezbollah.

“I repeat again and again – we did not want this war. We do not want war – not today, not ever. But we are entitled to the most basic rights of any nation to live like any other people, in peace, security, and tranquility, and to bring our sons and daughters back home – the hostages back to their families, and the displaced citizens from the north and south to their homes, schools, and businesses.”

“Last night, we saw the precise and impressive actions of Israel’s Air Force against Hezbollah. There is no doubt that even today the world knows – both our enemies and our friends – that we have an air force made of steel!”

“We salute them, along with all our security forces, for their tremendous efforts in this difficult war. And we reaffirm our resolve to overcome in the face of terror.” (INN / VFI News)

UNRWA Demands Immunity for Employees Implicated in October 7th Massacre

In an official document submitted to the US court, the UN, backed by the US Department of Justice, claims that UNRWA employees who participated in the October 7th massacre be granted immunity from prosecution.

A full 10% of UNRWA employees are affiliated with a terror group, and at least 12 UNRWA employees participated directly in the October 7 massacre: Six were part of the wave of terrorists who breached the border fence and participated in the assault, two helped kidnap Israelis, two were tracked to sites where scores of Israelis were massacred, and other coordinated logistics for the attack - including the procurement of weapons.

In the document submitted to a US court, it is claimed that the UNRWA employees who participated in the massacre have immunity:

“Since the UN has not waived their immunity in this case, its subsidiary organization, UNRWA, continues to enjoy absolute immunity from prosecution, and the lawsuit should be dismissed,” reads UNRWA’s response document.

The US Department of Justice added: ”The plaintiffs’ complaint does not present a theory under which the United Nations waived its immunity. Therefore, since the UN has not waived their immunity in this case, its subsidiary organization, UNRWA, continues to enjoy absolute immunity from prosecution, and the lawsuit against the defendant UNRWA should be dismissed due to the lack of subject matter.” (INN / VFI News)

Universities Could Lose $33 Billion If Divestment from Israel Continues - Report

Universities adopting a BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) strategy regarding Israel could result in negative financial implications in the billions of dollars, a new report by JLens published on Thursday, September 19, has found.

As part of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL),  JLens is the first network to properly quantify the risk of BDS-aligned investment strategies for universities.

By analyzing the historical performance of two hypothetical large-cap US equity portfolios—meaning those with a market value of over $10 billion—the report was able to provide detailed predictions for the endowments of the 100 largest universities if they were to invest based on BDS-aligned divestment strategies from 2023 to 2033.

According to the report, Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and Princeton are projected to collectively lose more than $8 billion in estimated returns on their endowments over the next decade. Conversely, Brown University, considering adopting the BDS strategy, could miss out on over $300,000,000 in returns.

If these 100 largest US university endowments adopt BDS-aligned investment strategies, they could collectively lose $33.2 billion in returns over the next decade. (JPost / VFI News)

3,000-Year-Old Sword with Biblical Origins Discovered in Egypt

Archaeologists have discovered an ancient sword in Egypt that is linked to a Biblical pharaoh. The bronze blade, thought to be around 3,000 years old, has the markings of Ramesses II, hailed as the most powerful king of ancient Egypt.

Many scholars, as well as Hollywood movies, have suggested that Ramesses was the pharaoh who enslaved the Israelites in the Book of Exodus.

The sword was uncovered among the ruins of an ancient military fort in Housh Eissa, a city just south of Alexandria, which featured barracks for soldiers and storage rooms for food, weapons and other goods.

Ramesses, who ruled from 1279 to 1213 BC, most famous battle was the Battle of Kadesh, which occurred in 1247BC against the Hittites in what is now Syria. Ramesses personally led the charge through the Hittite ranks with about 20,000 soldiers.

Details of the Battle of Kadesh have been found etched in ancient stones, but another record has also been suggested to include the story of Ramesses - the Book of Exodus.

It begins with the Israelites enslaved in Egypt, before the pharaoh - coerced by 10 terrible plagues - agrees to release them after one of the plagues killed his son and Moses leads them across the miraculously-parted Red Sea. While no name is tied to the pharaoh in the Bible, scholars point to Exodus 1:11 in their argument. (DM / VFI News)
