Barrage of 100 Rockets Launched from Lebanon

The Hezbollah terrorist organization launched a barrage of approximately 100 rockets at multiple areas in Israel on the evening of Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed the attack shortly after 8:20 p.m., stating that the Israeli Air Force was intercepting projectiles while simultaneously striking ready-to-launch launchers and additional Hezbollah infrastructure across Lebanon. The public was urged to follow Home Front Command defensive guidelines, and the IDF vowed it would not tolerate any harm to Israeli civilians.

Multiple impact sites were confirmed across several areas of northern Israel. Magen David Adom reported that a man in his 50s sustained light injuries when a flying object struck his hand, and two additional people were lightly injured at another location. Three fire crews responded to a direct hit on the roof of a one-story private house in the central Galilee, where firefighters cut off power sources and searched the building for anyone trapped inside.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the barrage, announcing it had launched an operation titled “Al-ʿAsf al-Maʾkul.” Earlier that evening, Mateh Asher Regional Council chairman Moshe Davidovich had issued an urgent call for residents to stay close to protected areas and reduce non-essential activities, citing accumulating alerts from security sources. In many communities, extracurricular activities, gatherings, and social events were canceled for the evening.
