Iran Using Houthis to Build More Missiles and Threaten Global Shipping, Yemeni Minister Claims
Yemen’s information minister accused Iran of relocating parts of its military industry to Houthi-controlled territory, endangering global shipping routes in the Gulf of Aden.
According to Moammar al-Eryani, Tehran plans to produce ballistic missiles and drones in northern Yemen, mirroring those used during the recent 12-day war.
He warned of similarities in tactics and technology between the Houthis and Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, and that Iranian experts are guiding operations within Yemen.
Al-Eryani called for urgent international action, warning that complacency would allow Iran to entrench itself militarily in the region. (JPost/VFI News)
