IDF Says it Eliminated Hamas Terrorists behind Nova Kidnappings

Israel’s security services announced targeted operations that killed multiple Hamas operatives tied to the October 7, 2023, assault and the kidnappings from the Nova music festival, naming figures linked to the abductions of Noa Argamani, Eitan Mor, and Avinatan Or. The IDF and Shin Bet said the strikes were carried out over recent months as intelligence allowed, with several of the kidnappers eliminated in separate actions throughout the year. Families of the victims welcomed the news and urged continued pursuit of the attackers still at large. 

Officials highlighted that the campaign remains focused on removing direct perpetrators and commanders responsible for murder, rape, and hostage-taking, while working to prevent their return through prisoner swaps or reorganization. The announcement listed a series of dates and locations where the operatives were struck, illustrating a methodical effort propelled by accumulated intelligence.

Relatives of the abducted said the operations brought a measure of justice, even as they pressed authorities to sustain pressure until every captor is found. Their message stressed that accountability for the horrors of that day is inseparable from deterrence and the safe future of border communities.
