IDF Intercepts Missile from Yemen; Debris Lands in Judea and Samaria Settlement
A ballistic missile launched at Israel by Yemen’s Houthis was successfully intercepted by air defenses on Thursday evening, May 15, the military said. A large chunk of debris from the intercepted missile landed in the Judea and Samaria settlement of Alon Shvut. No injuries were reported thankfully.
Sirens had sounded across central Israel and the Jerusalem area. Preceding the sirens by some three minutes, an early warning was issued to residents, alerting them of the long-range missile attack via a push notification on their phones.
This was the third day in which a Houthi-launched missile reached Israeli airspace and was intercepted.
On Tuesday, a ballistic missile launched from Yemen, apparently aimed at Israel, fell short far from the country. A missile fired from Yemen also fell short on Monday, according to an Israeli defense source. (TOI/VFI News)
“Dear God, we thank You for always protecting us from those wishing to harm our people. We pray that You continue to do so and that You keep us in Your loving, Fatherly Embrace for the rest of our days. We also pray that You strengthen and give rest to our defense personnel, dismantle the Houthis and turn the criminals’ hearts to You and Your Son. In Yeshua's Name we pray, amen.”
