VFI News FBI Shifts Focus to Terror Threats After Israel-Iran Conflict
Is Regime Change in Iran Already Happening? | VFI News
Is regime change in Iran already happening? In this VFI News report, Barry Seigel brings an in-depth update on the Israel-Iran conflict and the growing signs of Iran’s internal collapse.
Over the past two weeks, Israel has struck devastating blows against Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs, while the U.S. Air Force and Navy launched precision strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The coordinated offensive crippled Iran’s nuclear ambitions and accelerated the collapse of its military infrastructure.
Iran’s response was swift but ineffective. While Iranian ballistic missiles struck Israeli cities, causing tragic civilian casualties and billions in damage, Israel’s air defenses and military dominance minimized the impact. Contrary to global narratives, Israel never needed a U.S. rescue—Israel was fully prepared to handle this war alone.
The Iranian regime, led by ailing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, is now facing a political crisis. Succession plans are breaking down, senior IRGC leaders have been eliminated, and key alliances with proxies like Hezbollah and the Houthis are unraveling. Even Hezbollah chose to sit this war out, shocking Iran’s leadership. The possibility of regime change is no longer distant—it may already be underway.
Meanwhile, ISIS resurfaced with a deadly church bombing in Damascus, highlighting the region's continuing instability. Syria remains on edge, and Iranian-backed militias in Iraq and Yemen still pose future threats.
As Israel fights to protect its citizens, organizations like Vision for Israel are working on the ground to provide bomb shelters and emergency aid to those affected by the missile attacks.
The cease-fire announced by President Trump may bring a temporary pause, but this conflict’s long-term impact on Iran, Israel, and the Middle East is just beginning to unfold.
Join us for this critical breakdown of military events, political shifts, and the possible fall of Iran’s regime.

FBI Moving Resources from Crime and Immigration to Terrorism Due to Israel/Iran War Fallout
The FBI is reallocating resources from countering violent crimes and illegal immigration to counterterrorism cases due to expected blowback from the war against Iran, bureau director Kash Patel said Monday, June 23, 2025.
“Not to take away from the other priorities of the administration—getting rid of criminals in our communities, illegals in our communities—but right now, the focus, given the nature of what just happened, has to be on protecting the homeland,” Patel said at the National Sheriffs’ Association conference in Florida.
CBS News reported that a memo was distributed to FBI field office directors, instructing them to focus on domestic and international terror threats. A separate memo from U.S. Customs and Border Protection stated that the threat of sleeper cells has "never been higher," although specific intelligence is lacking.
This marks a pivot from Patel’s previous focus on violent crime and illegal immigration. Sources within the FBI alleged they were previously pressured to maximize immigration arrests.
The renewed counterterrorism focus may lead to increased use of controversial undercover operations. Investigative journalist Trevor Aaronson, in The Terror Factory, documented that nearly half of post-9/11 terror cases involving Muslims were initiated by FBI informants.
Headline USA has highlighted recent cases, including one where an informant posing as a pro-Iranian terrorist earned over $600,000 from the bureau. (HLUSA/VFI News)

Trump Warns Iran of Further Strikes if Nuclear Program Rebuilt
President Donald Trump warned Wednesday, June 25, 2025, that the U.S. would strike Iran again if it attempts to rebuild its nuclear facilities, following the recent successful attack on three key sites.
Speaking at a NATO summit in the Netherlands, Trump responded with a firm "Sure" when asked whether he would approve future strikes if Iran reconstitutes its nuclear program.
NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte praised Trump’s decisive action, calling him a "man of strength" and noting the ceasefire between Israel and Iran as a diplomatic achievement. Rutte also commended Trump for persuading NATO members to increase defense spending.
Some NATO allies, while supportive of security aims, called for de-escalation. Yet Trump remains resolute, having earlier stated that the strikes set Iran’s nuclear ambitions back "many years." (Fox News/VFI News)

China's Jewish Community Offers Construction Aid to Israel
Amid Israel’s massive reconstruction effort following Iranian missile strikes, the Jewish community in Foshan, China, has offered to assist. Rabbi Gadi Luzon extended help through the city’s robust construction sector, contacting Israel's Renovation Contractors Union.
Luzon highlighted Foshan’s global prominence in manufacturing building materials, offering resources ranging from aluminum and glass to sanitary equipment and labor. With a labor shortage in Israel, Foshan firms are prepared to send trained professionals and manage crews on-site.
Israel's Housing and Construction Ministry has already launched initiatives to restore over 30,000 affected housing units, but expanded partnerships may accelerate the rebuilding process. (YNN/VFI News)
“Heavenly Father, we thank You for the unity among Jewish communities worldwide. We pray for a swift and safe reconstruction of homes in Israel, and for all those displaced to find comfort and restoration. May this international aid be a sign of Your provision and the strength of Your people.”
Iranian Lawmakers Vote to End IAEA Inspections After Nuclear Strikes
On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, Iran's parliament voted to suspend cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), chanting "Death to America! Death to Israel!" after approving a bill that limits nuclear site inspections.
The law, pending final approval by Iran's Supreme National Security Council, halts camera surveillance, inspections, and reporting to the IAEA. Lawmakers claim the agency abetted Israeli and U.S. attacks on Iranian nuclear sites.
Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf accused the IAEA of selling out its credibility and enabling what Iran perceives as unjustified strikes. He stated Iran will only restore cooperation if national security is assured. (YNN/VFI News)
“Lord, we pray that Iran will not be able to continue its nuclear activity. We ask that You stop them in their tracks and completely dismantle their nuclear capabilities. We pray for Your hand to bring stability to the Middle East and the entire world. Let peace prevail and prevent escalation.”

Israel-Iran War Toll: 28 Dead, Thousands Wounded, Iran’s Arsenal Depleted
As a fragile ceasefire takes hold, the scope of the Israel-Iran conflict over the last 12 days reveals staggering human and material costs. Twenty-eight Israeli civilians have been killed and more than 3,000 wounded.
Iran launched 550 ballistic missiles and 1,000 drones at Israel. Most were intercepted, but 31 missiles hit populated areas or infrastructure. Beersheba, among other cities, sustained extensive damage.
Israel’s counterstrikes decimated two-thirds of Iran's missile launchers, hundreds of drones, and over 80 air defense batteries. Airstrikes also targeted nuclear sites at Natanz and Isfahan, setting Iran’s nuclear program back years, according to IDF estimates.
More than 9,000 Israelis were displaced during the fighting. The IDF Home Front Command issued over 21,000 alerts to civilians. Officials say that aerial superiority over western Iran was achieved without losing a single Israeli fighter jet. (TOI/VFI News)

Israel Defends US Strikes on Iran at UN, Slams Critics for Silence
At a June 22, 2025 emergency UN Security Council meeting, Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon hailed the US's recent strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities as necessary and righteous, accusing critics of prior silence while Iran escalated its nuclear ambitions.
Danon declared, "Where were you when Iran raced toward the bomb?" and accused nations of complicity through inaction. In contrast, Iranian envoy Amir Iravani condemned the attacks as "barbaric" and said Tehran reserved the right to retaliate.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and IAEA Director Rafael Grossi voiced concerns about escalation and potential radiation risks. Grossi emphasized that armed attacks on nuclear sites must be avoided.
The debate reflects growing polarization among global powers over how to address Iran’s nuclear threat and Israel’s security concerns. (TOI/VFI News)
“Father, we pray that truth and righteousness prevail in the halls of global power. May the safety and integrity of Israel be upheld and defended. Let the nations rise in wisdom and peace, not in fear or silence.”
Germany and NATO Defend Israel and US Strikes, Despite UN Report
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte publicly defended Israeli and U.S. strikes on Iran, even as a UN fact-finding mission raised humanitarian concerns.
Merz stated, "There is no reason for us to criticize what Israel started a week ago, nor what America did." He acknowledged the risks but affirmed that inaction was not a viable choice.
NATO Chief Rutte added that the US strikes did not violate international law. Nonetheless, the UN cited potential violations of humanitarian principles, pointing to civilian casualties in Tehran and Kermanshah.
These conflicting views highlight the tension between strategic necessity and humanitarian oversight in modern warfare. (JPost/VFI News)

US Reaffirms Red Lines on Iran: No Nuclear Enrichment or Weaponization
U.S. Middle East Envoy Steve Witkoff stated in a June 24 CNBC interview that Iran’s nuclear enrichment and weaponization remain clear red lines for Washington. He emphasized hopes for a new agreement that ensures only non-enrichable civilian energy for Iran.
Witkoff said, "We can’t have weaponization. That will destabilize the entire region. Everyone will then need a bomb."
His comments follow President Trump’s strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and the tentative ceasefire brokered afterwards. While Trump is open to a new nuclear deal, his administration insists that any enrichment or weaponization would provoke direct action. (Reuters/VFI News)
