UN Says Nearly 100 Gaza Aid Trucks Looted, Hamas Killed at Least 20 Palestinians Accused of Stealing the Aid

Nearly 100 trucks carrying food for Palestinians were violently looted on Saturday, November 16, after entering Gaza in one of the worst aid losses during the 13 months of war in the enclave, where hunger is deepening, two UN agencies told British media on Monday.

The convoy transporting food provided by UN agencies UNRWA and the World Food Program was instructed by Israel to depart at short notice via an unfamiliar route from the Kerem Shalom border crossing, said Louise Wateridge, UNRWA Senior Emergency Officer.

Ninety-eight of the 109 trucks in the convoy were raided and some of the transporters were injured during the incident, she said, without detailing who carried out the ambush.

UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said there was “severe damage to the trucks and in some cases, total loss of cargo on the trucks,” calling the incident the worst instance of looting in Gaza “in terms of volume.”

Meanwhile, the Hamas-controlled Gaza Interior Ministry said on Monday that more than 20 Palestinian residents of Gaza were killed in a “crime prevention operation” by Hamas “security forces” and “tribal committees.” In other words, Hamas killed at least 20 Palestinians accused of stealing humanitarian aid. “Dear God, we pray for the innocent Palestinian civilians who have been facing extreme weather conditions, famines, and diseases for more than one year. We pray that You heal them, show them Your love, and help them receive all the aid intended for them so they can be well-fed and as safe as possible. We pray in Yeshua’s name that You dismantle Hamas and all other terrorist entities and gangs who try to profit from the suffering of these people. We also pray for the healing of the people injured during Saturday’s looting and ask that You give them strength to continue their charitable work.”

ICC Issues Arrest Warrants for PM Netanyahu, Former Defense Minister Gallant and Mohammed Deif

The International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague issued arrest warrants on Thursday, November 21, against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant.

The ICC explained that there is a reasonable belief that Netanyahu and Gallant committed war crimes. The announcement statement that Netanyahu and Gallant “bear criminal responsibility for crimes, including shared participation in acts committed with others – war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare and crimes against humanity, including murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts.”

In addition, “Netanyahu and Gallant each bear individual criminal responsibility as civilian superiors for the war crime of intentional attack against a civilian population,” it was written. Since Hamas did not formally confirm the death of Mohammed Deif, the ICC also issued an arrest warrant against him.

Former Prime Minister, Naftali Bennet, commented on X that, “The ICC arrest warrants are a mark of shame not of Israel’s leaders but of the ICC itself, and its members. On October 7th, Hamas brutally attacked Israel, murdering, burning alive, and raping over 1200 Israelis. Israel is fighting back the most just of wars against pure evil.”

“Taken in bad faith, the outrageous decision at the ICC has turned universal justice into a universal laughingstock. It makes a mockery of the sacrifice of all those who fight for justice – from the Allied victory over the Nazis till today,” Israeli President Isaac Herzog wrote.

Herzog argued that the ICC’s decision ignores Hamas’ use of human shields and its Oct. 7, 2023 terror attacks that started the war, as well as the Israeli hostages remaining in Gaza. (INN /VFI News)

Hamas’s Last Bastion: What the Fall of Jabalya Could Mean for A Hostage Deal - Analysis

Jabalya, in the northern Gaza Strip, has become a symbol of heroism for Hamas, and the IDF believes that the fall of the refugee camp could open the door to advancing a hostage deal. It is estimated that approximately 3,000 terrorists have regrouped in the camp.

The IDF’s 162nd Division executed a tactical maneuver that resulted in encircling Jabalya from the south and creating a barrier between Hamas terrorists in Gaza City and those in Jabalya.

So far, some 1,200 terrorists have been eliminated, and an equal number have surrendered to the IDF. Several dozen are believed to have escaped southward through the crossings. The IDF’s current challenge is dealing with the most hardened core of Hamas terrorists — the “jihadists,” who are expected to fight to the last bullet.

The IDF believes that the final fall of Jabalya will usher Hamas into a new era and ultimately enable the renewal of hostage deal efforts. This is why Mossad chief David Barnea, Shin Bet head Ronen Bar, and the military leadership have been urging the political echelon in recent days to take advantage of the emerging situation in northern Gaza to advance efforts for the release of the 101 hostages held by Hamas.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently reiterated an offer to lavishly pay Gazans who turn over Israeli hostages, upping the reward to $5 million for each captive, after previously suggesting Israel would pay “several million” for their recovery. (JPost/VFI News)

“Our Heavenly Father, we continue to pray for our hostages who are still being held by Hamas. We pray in Yeshua’s name that You hear our and their families' pleas and rescue them as soon as possible. We trust You and we pray for their physical and mental health. Please, help them leave the awful environment they are held in and rejoice with their families once again. Thank You for keeping them alive to this day.”

Italy Admits Rockets that Hit UN Forces Were from Hezbollah, Not Israel

Italy’s defense ministry admits Hezbollah staged an attack on itself when a UN Interim Force in Lebanon base was hit by rocket fire that it initially blamed on Israel, American media reported on Tuesday, November 19.

Last week, Italy said an unexploded artillery shell hit the base of UNIFIL base, blaming the IDF.  According to the American news outlet, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto had initially said in Brussels that the IDF had staged the attack on the UN base in Lebanon.

Israel’s newly appointed Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar had promised Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani an “immediate investigation” into the shell incident. However, an IDF review determined that Hezbollah was responsible for firing the rocket hit the UNIFIL post, the military said.

According to the IDF assessment, the rocket was fired from the area of Deir Aames, one of many fired by Hezbollah in a barrage launched at Israel at 9:50 a.m.

UNIFIL agreed with the IDF report that these strikes were from Hezbollah, saying the rocket was “fired most likely by non-state actors within Lebanon.” (JPost/ VFI News)

US, European Powers Submit Iran Censuring Motion at IAEA

European powers and the United States on Wednesday, November 20, introduced a resolution censuring Iran for its insufficient cooperation on its nuclear program, even after the head of the UN nuclear watchdog acknowledged a “concrete step” by Iran to limit its uranium stockpile, French media reported.

This move follows a visit to Iran by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, who inspected major enrichment facilities at Fordow and Natanz.

On Tuesday, new IAEA reports were submitted indicating that Iran has proposed halting the expansion of its stockpile of uranium enriched to 60% purity—close to the 90% threshold required for weapons-grade material—on the condition that Western powers abandon efforts to pass a resolution condemning its lack of cooperation with the IAEA.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Grossi praised Iran’s agreement to cap its stockpile of highly enriched uranium as a “concrete step.” He noted that Tehran had taken initial measures to stop adding to its stockpile.

However, a senior diplomat expressed skepticism about Iran’s last-minute gesture to freeze its stockpile, describing it as “pretty disingenuous” since the measure required minimal effort and could easily be reversed. (INN / VFI News)

“Lord, we pray that You prevent Iran from further enriching its uranium and making nuclear weapons. We pray in Yeshua’s name that every country currently able to produce such weapons is prevented from doing so. We pray that a nuclear war will not erupt in the Middle East or elsewhere. May You stop Iran in its tracks and cause its leaders to sorrowfully repent and turn to You, the One true God.”

Hamas-Iran Alliance: Captured Documents Expose Decades-Long Terror Funding

Israel has obtained receipts and records of transfers of money from Iran to Hamas, totaling tens of millions of dollars annually over the past two decades.

The documents fell into Israeli hands during the maneuver in the Gaza Strip and were recently published in a report by The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center.

Alongside the discovery of these documents, the interrogation of Hamas terrorists captured during the war has provided Shin Bet investigators with additional information on the matter.

“Iran has been Hamas’ primary strategic supporter since 2014, providing military equipment and training as well as financial aid amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars for the movement’s leadership and its military wing. Senior Hamas figures have also publicly thanked Tehran for providing weapons enabling attacks deep inside Israeli territory,” the report stated.

In addition to supporting the military aspects of Hamas’s activities, the documents reveal that Iranian influence also extended to supporting other terror organizations in the Gaza Strip and funding civilian, educational, and cultural projects in Gaza. (JPost/VFI News)

Families of American Oct. 7 Hamas Attack Victims Sue Iran for ‘Crucial Role’ in Supporting Massacre

The families of American victims of Hamas’ deadly attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, have accused Iran in a lawsuit of supporting the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust while accusing the Islamic Republic of being directly involved in the assault that killed 1,200 people.

The lawsuit, filed in a federal court in Washington D.C., on behalf of 250 families and survivors of the attack, alleges Iran funded, planned, and coordinated the attack with Hamas. Iran and its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are named in the complaint.

Additionally, Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) are also named in the lawsuit. The suit details Iran’s embrace of various terror groups dedicated to the destruction of Israel.

“The atrocities committed by Hamas and its co-conspirators on October 7, 2023, all operating with what our clients believe to be both tactical and financial support from Iran and its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, were acts that cannot be permitted to stand,” said anti-terrorism attorney John Eubanks, one of several prominent lawyers representing the plaintiffs.

The suit stems from the secret documents uncovered in Gaza that attorneys said show the IRGC funneled millions of dollars to Hamas. The suit seeks compensatory damages under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act and Anti-Terrorism Act. (FN /VFI News)

No More Business As Usual: US Warns Turkey Against Hosting Hamas Leaders

The United States warned Turkey on Monday, November 18, against hosting Hamas leadership, saying Washington does not believe leaders of a terrorist organization should be living comfortably.

When asked about reports that some Hamas leaders had moved to Turkey from Qatar, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller did not confirm the reports but said he was not in a position to dispute them.

He said Washington will make clear to Turkey’s government that there can be no more business as usual with Hamas. Miller added that some Hamas leaders are under US indictment and Washington believes they should be turned over to the United States.

“We don’t believe the leaders of a vicious terrorist organization should be living comfortably anywhere, and that certainly includes in ... a major city of one of our key allies and partners,” Miller told reporters at a regular news briefing.

A Turkish diplomatic source dismissed on Monday reports that Hamas had moved its political office to Turkey, adding that members of the Palestinian militant group only visited the country from time to time. (JPost / VFI News)
