Report: Hamas is Rebuilding its Abilities in Northern Gaza; Israel Continues to Eliminate Terrorists
Hamas is successfully rebuilding its abilities in northern Gaza, despite the severe hit the terror group has suffered throughout the war, Israeli media reported.
According to the report, recent information shows that the IDF has continued operations in some areas in northern Gaza, but is not present in large numbers as it was in the initial months of the war. A security source said that Israel has now discovered that Hamas has succeeded in renewing some of its capabilities in the area.
Estimates also indicate that approximately 3,000 new Hamas terrorists are operating in northern Gaza. These are not terrorists who moved from southern Gaza to northern Gaza; rather, they are new manpower that the terror group enlisted in recent months, and who receive ammunition and weapons from it.
Meanwhile, based on IDF and ISA intelligence, IAF aircrafts recently conducted a targeted strike on terrorists who operated in a Command and Control Center used by the Hamas terrorist organization and the Islamic Jihad, which was embedded in the humanitarian area in Deir al-Balah.
The strike was conducted to remove an immediate threat. Before the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
Further, a Hamas terrorist was caught on video on October 7 swigging a bottle of soda in front of two young boys whose dad he had just murdered, was killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza over the weekend. The Hamas battalion commander, Ahmed Fozi Wadia, “raided” and “commanded the slaughter” of Israel’s Netiv HaAsara settlement eleven months ago — only to be killed in the IDF airstrike along with seven other Hamas terrorists on Saturday, August 31, the Israeli military said on Tuesday. We pray in Yeshua’s name that You rid us of all the terrorists currently wreaking havoc in our land and that You prevent them from gaining even more followers and operatives. We pray that You cause our enemies to seek peace with us and that in any scenario they will not be allowed to steal, kill, and destroy anymore. We thank You for Your protection so far and we are extremely grateful for the people who are fighting daily to keep all civilians safe from harm.”

Murdered Israeli Hostages Were Found in a Tunnel Under Children’s Room, One Hostage Weighed 36 Kilos
The six Israeli hostages whose bodies were found on Saturday, August 31, had been murdered by Hamas in a tunnel in Rafah, in Gaza, underneath a children’s room, with a tunnel shaft surrounded by stuffed animals and Disney cartoons.
The revelation Wednesday by the IDF is just the latest shocking detail about the horrific conditions in which the hostages were kept — and the abuse of children as human shields by Hamas terrorists.
The IDF said in a statement: “The shaft leading to the tunnel in which the bodies of the hostages Carmel Gat, Eden Yerushalmi, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Alex Lobanov, Almog Sarusi, and MSG Ori Danino were recovered from was located next to stuffed animals and wall art of cartoon characters in a children’s play area.”
“The troops of the 162nd Division and the ISA located the shaft leading to the tunnel in an area surrounded by the enemy and extensively booby-trapped. This is a further example of how Hamas abuses civilian areas to hold hostages and carry out its terrorist activities.”
Further, there is evidence that the hostages were starved. One hostage, 24-year-old Eden Yerushalmi, was found to have weighed only 79 pounds - 36 kilos - at the time of her death, having lost 22 pounds over 11 months of captivity. (BB / VFI News)
“Lord, we can do nothing but pray for Your mercy to cover all the remaining hostages and their families. We pray in Yeshua’s name for their release and that You take care of their physical and mental health. We pray that You give them the strength to overcome the daily abuse they are suffering and that You grant them hope, internal peace, and rest. We hope that the terrorists will soon be caught or willingly surrender and give away the location of the remaining hostages. We pray for the families of the six murdered hostages and we trust that You will strengthen them as they go through this time of grieving.”
Hamas Cruelly Taunts Slain Hostages’ Kin with Haunting Video of Captives Before Death
Hamas on Monday, September 2, taunted the families of the six hostages found slain in Gaza by releasing haunting pre-recorded footage of the victims — and warning the gut-wrenching clips were only a teaser to their “last messages.”
One of the gaunt and exhausted-looking hostages, Eden Yerushalmi, said in the eerie propaganda video that she feared she’d never escape alive. “Bombing here never stops, and we are afraid for our lives. We are scared of dying here,” Yerushalmi said, according to Israeli media.
The Palestinian terrorists also cruelly suggested in a separate posting on Monday that the innocent captives were deliberately executed because they were about to be rescued by Israeli forces.
Yerushalmi — who was working at the Nova musical fest as a bartender when she was abducted during the October 7 massacre — told her family, “I love and miss you all so much,” according to another Israeli news outlet.
In the footage, each of the captives appeared and said their names before the footage transitioned to still frames — including one threatening to release the captives’ full statements, according to the video posted on Telegram. (NYP / VFI News)

Report: Sinwar Planned to Smuggle Himself and Hostages to Iran
Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar planned to smuggle himself, other Hamas leaders, and the remaining Israeli hostages through the Philadelphi Corridor to Sinai and from there to Iran, Jewish media reported on Thursday, September 5, citing intelligence officials.
According to the report, the plan was revealed by a captured senior Hamas official during his interrogation by Israeli security forces, as well as by information obtained from documents seized last week, the same day the six bodies of the murdered hostages were retrieved.
The report notes that the Hamas leader understands that the end of his organization is near and his only way out would be to sneak out of the Gaza Strip and flee to Iran.
For that reason, according to the report, Hamas is insisting on Israel withdrawing from the corridor which runs along the Egyptian border. Earlier on Thursday, the Prime Minister spoke to American media and explained his opposition to relinquishing control over the Philadelphi Corridor. (INN / VFI News)
“Dear God, we pray that You will not let our hostages be smuggled into Iran and that You will bring an end to this war once and for all. We know that You have the power to end everything in a matter of seconds. You are the powerful Almighty God of this universe, the only God, and we pray for Your intervention in Yeshua’s name. We trust in Your Will and we surrender all of our worries and burdens to You.”

DOJ Charges Hamas Leaders over ‘Terrorist Atrocities’ in October 7 Israel Attack
The U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday, September 3, unsealed criminal charges against Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar and other leaders of the brutal organization over the “terrorist atrocities” of the October 7, 2023, massacre in Israel.
The criminal complaint filed in federal court in New York City includes charges of conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization, conspiracy to murder U.S. nationals, and conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction resulting in death.
It also accuses Iran and Lebanon’s Hezbollah of providing financial support and weapons, including rockets, that were used in the attack. The complaint marks the first time that U.S. prosecutors have formally called out the masterminds of the October 7 massacre.
“The charges unsealed today are just one part of our effort to target every aspect of Hamas’ operations,” Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a video address.
“These actions will not be our last. The Justice Department has a long memory. We will pursue the terrorists responsible for murdering Americans – and those who illegally provide them with material support – for the rest of their lives.” (FN / VFI News)

Report: Iran Recruited European Criminals to Attack Jewish Targets
A report in German media on Thursday, September 5, revealed that Iran recently enlisted members of criminal organizations to carry out terror attacks against Jewish institutions in Germany and France. While intelligence forces foiled most attacks, the report notes that one cell already allegedly committed arson attacks in France.
In addition, the cell carried out surveillance for the Iranian regime on targets in Germany. According to the report, one of the cell members, who has since been arrested in France, visited Berlin to spy on an attorney who represents Israeli clients.
He also followed an Israeli family in Munich and filmed the area using his phone. The cell was led by a wealthy drug dealer. It was responsible for arson attacks on four Israeli-owned businesses in southern France between December 28th and January 3rd.
Terror threats on Israelis and Jews abroad, particularly in Europe, have been on the rise since the war in Gaza began and especially since the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
On Thursday morning, a gunman opened fire outside the Israeli consulate in Munich, Germany. Security forces eliminated the suspect, an 18-year-old living in Austria who was already known to security authorities as an Islamist. (INN / VFI News)

Thousands of Christians ‘Deliberately Targeted’ and Killed in Nigeria, New Report Says
The killing, persecution, and displacement of Christians in Nigeria is “unrelenting” and “a time bomb,” according to a major new report. Christians “are deliberately targeted,” as well as “Christian communities, their livelihood(s), faith leaders and places of worship,” according to the report by Open Doors International, a faith-based non-profit working to raise awareness of global persecution, aiming to mobilize prayer, support, and action among Christians.
“Last year alone, in Nigeria there were more people that were killed because of their Christian faith than all other places in the globe combined,” Ryan Brown, the CEO of Open Doors U.S., told American media, adding “to be specific, there were 4998 Christians that were killed because of their faith in Nigeria last year.”
In testimonies recorded for the Open Doors International report, titled “No Road Home,” attacks on Christians are said to have been carried out by Islamist terror groups Boko Haram and the Islamic State of West Africa Province, and predominantly Muslim Fulani militants, who originally were herdsmen.
“When the Fulani gunmen came to attack, they could be heard shouting ‘Allahu Akbar (Allah is the greatest), we will destroy all Christians,’” one interviewee claimed in the report. Another added, “The Fulani started to shoot, burning houses. They burnt our animals and maize plants.” (FN / VFI News)

Major Threat of Oil Spill in Red Sea as Houthis Detonate Explosives on Seized Tanker
Yemen’s Houthis have detonated several explosives on board the Greek-flagged Sounion tanker on Thursday, August 29, according to video footage released by the group.
The Sounion was captured by the Houthis on August 21, forcing its crew of 23 to be evacuated by European forces in the area. On August 23, a fire broke out aboard the ship, leading to the group towing it, raising fears of an oil spill.
The ship was reported to be carrying a little over one million barrels of oil when it was attacked on August 21, meaning that should the ship begin leaking oil, it could easily become one of the worst oil spills in history.
In the video, masked armed men can be seen patrolling the ship, with fires burning, followed by priming explosives and a coordinated explosion on the Sounion.
The EU Red Sea naval mission said on Thursday night that despite the multiple fires on the Sounion, no oil spill had been detected. (JPost / VFI News)
