IDF Strikes Hamas Control Center in Jabaliya

On Wednesday afternoon, April 2, the IDF and ISA confirmed a strike on Hamas terrorists in the Jabaliya area.

The terrorists were hiding inside a command and control center that was being used for coordinating terrorist activity and served as a central meeting point for the terrorist organization.

Additionally, the compound was used by the Hamas' Jabaliya Battalion to plan terror attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of aerial surveillance and additional intelligence.

Following the strike, the IDF stressed, "Hamas terrorist organization systematically violates international law while taking over civilian infrastructure, and while brutally exploiting the civilian population as a human shield for its terror attacks against the State of Israel."

"The IDF and ISA will continue to operate against the Hamas terrorist organization and to remove any threat to Israeli civilians." (INN/VFI News)

“Dear Lord, we pray that Hamas will be dismantled once and for all. Please, hear our pleas and remove this threat from the land You have given our forefathers. We pray in Yeshua’s Name that we can live safely and peacefully in our country. We also pray for the repentance of the wicked and for them to find salvation in Yeshua.”

Prominent Gaza Family Executes Hamas Gunman Who Killed One of Their Relatives: Report

A prominent Gaza family reportedly executed a Hamas terrorist in broad daylight after the gunman shot dead one of their relatives while he was waiting in line for flour.

Members of the Abu Samra clan — a noted family in central Gaza — admitted to killing the Hamas operative in Deir al-Balah on Tuesday, April 1, after he gunned down their relative, Abdulrahman Sha’aban Abu Samra, earlier in the day, Israeli media reported.

Footage circulating on social media showed a handful of heavily armed men parading the apparent terrorist through the street in the moments before they opened fire on him at point-blank range.

The revenge attack came just hours after the Hamas militant had gunned down Abdulrahman for apparently refusing an order to leave the flour distribution line.

The caught-on-camera execution highlights the mounting fury civilians are having with Hamas — as demonstrations have broken out in the war-torn Gaza Strip of late to protest the misery the terrorists have brought. (NYP/VFI News)

“These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.” - Proverbs 6:16-19

Sa’ar to UN Middle East Peace Coordinator: ‘PA Must Stop Payments to Terrorists’

Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa'ar met on Wednesday, April 2, with the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Sigrid Kaag, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem.

The meeting focused on the situation in Gaza, the possibility of reaching a hostage deal, the IDF's operation against terror in Judea and Samaria, and more.

During the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sa'ar stated that the Palestinian Authority must stop payments to terrorists and their families, cease incitement (especially within the education system, mosques, and media), and halt the legal warfare it conducts against Israel in international forums.

"The Palestinian Authority's current patterns of action do not allow for trust in it", Sa'ar said. The Minister also stated that the distorted orders of the ICC have already significantly harmed the credibility of the "Court" and that this harm will only continue to increase.

Minister Sa'ar also met with the Secretary-General of the OECD, Mathias Cormann. During the meeting, the two discussed strengthening cooperation between Israel and the organization, the challenges facing the Israeli economy, and the situation in the Middle East. (INN/VFI News)

“Our Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your love and protection. We thank You for being Who You are and we praise Your holy name. We pray in Yeshua's Name that you open the eyes of the spiritually blind and uncover all deceptions that make people stumble and fall. We pray that You help the Palestinians realize who their real enemies are and how dreadful the terror groups are for them. We ask that all funding to these terror groups will stop and that the civilians will not be tempted to engage in terrorism as a means of making a living.”

UNHCR Passes Resolution Denying Israel’s Right to Self-Defense

The United Nations Human Rights Council passed another resolution Wednesday, April 2, condemning Israel and accusing the Jewish state of human rights violations and illegal actions.

The resolution, titled "Human rights situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and the obligation to ensure accountability and justice," declares all Israeli presence in Judea and Samaria, including eastern Jerusalem, unlawful and illegal.

It claimed that Article 51 of the UN Charter, which states, "Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defense if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations, until the Security Council has taken measures necessary to maintain international peace and security," does not apply "to cases where a threat originates from a territory over which Israel exercises control."

Thus, in effect, it denies Israel's right to self-defense from terrorist attacks originating from Judea and Samaria and eastern Jerusalem, as well as Gaza.

The resolution also condemned Israel for its alleged treatment of Palestinian Arab prisoners, including condemning the arrests of minors regardless of whether they were engaged in violent attacks, claiming that "any arrest, detention or trial of Palestinian children by Israel is in violation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child."

No similar statement was made to condemn Hamas or any of those in Gaza who held, tortured, and murdered Israeli hostages, including children and babies. In fact, the Hamas terrorist was not mentioned even once in the resolution. (INN/VFI News)

Iran’s Khamenei Warns of ‘Strong Blow’ as Trump Threatens to Drop Bombs, Putin Silent on US Ire

Furious comments issued by President Donald Trump prompted a swift and aggressive response from Iran, while Russian President Vladimir Putin remains tight-lipped in the face of the U.S. leader’s ire.

Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, issued a warning on Monday, March 31, and said it would respond "decisively and immediately" to any threat issued by the U.S. after Trump said there "will be bombing" and likely more tariffs if Tehran does not agree to a nuclear deal with Washington.

"The enmity from the U.S. and Israel has always been there. They threaten to attack us, which we don’t think is very probable, but if they commit any mischief, they will surely receive a strong reciprocal blow," Khamenei said according to a British media outlet report.

Further, an adviser to Khamenei, Ali Larijani reportedly said in an interview with state media that the country would have no alternative but to acquire a nuclear weapon if attacked. “We are not moving towards (nuclear) weapons, but if you do something wrong in the Iranian nuclear issue, you will force Iran to move towards that because it has to defend itself.”

Meanwhile, President Trump also stated on Monday that the US will continue striking the Houthis until the Yemeni terror group stops attacking commercial ships in the Red Sea. (FN/VFI News)

“Dear God, we pray in Yeshua's Name that Iran will not be able to start a nuclear war. We pray fervently that you prevent Iran from enriching its uranium and acquiring nuclear weapons capable of mass destruction. Please, protect us and all Your people and innocent civilians from a nuclear war and its consequences. May Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”

Israel Aims to Begin Building New $1.4b Border Barrier with Jordan Within Months

Israel intends to begin building a long-promised new fence along the border with Jordan in June, Israeli media learned on Monday, March 31.

The fence will run from Hamat Gader at the southern edge of the Golan Heights to the Ramon International Airport north of Eilat. A 30-kilometer (18-mile) portion of the border with Jordan, from Eilat to Ramon Airport, was already upgraded similarly to Israel’s border barriers with Egypt and the Gaza Strip in the 2010s.

The new fence will cost NIS 5.2 billion (US$1.4 billion). Israel will aim to build the fence as close as possible to the actual border with Jordan, keeping in mind security and topographical considerations. The current fence leaves some 170 square kilometers between it and the border.

Israel also has plans to develop new towns along the border. There is an aging chain link fence equipped with sensors along some of the border that Jordan currently shares with Israel and Judea and Samaria. Other sections are only equipped with barbed wire.

The border’s porousness has made it a site of frequent gun- and drug-running. Officials say that weapons that have made it over the border — likely tens of thousands over the past decade — have fueled a surge in violence in the Arab community in Israel, and have been used by Palestinian terrorists. Western Intelligence Source to Israeli Media: Turkey Aims to Activate the Syrian T4 Air Base

The Turkish-Syrian connection has been tightening recently, including in the military field. A Western intelligence source told an Israeli news agency that Turkey wants to become Syria's air defense provider, in part by establishing a presence at the T4 base, which was active during Assad's regime.

The T4 base has been the target of several Israeli airstrikes in Syria in recent weeks. On Monday, March 31, an Israeli defense official told reporters that the purpose of these strikes was to signal to Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa that Israel would not allow any reduction in its freedom of action in Syrian airspace.

According to the Western intelligence source, Turkey intends to convert the T4 base into a drone facility. On Tuesday, a UK-based website reported that a Hisar air defense system will be deployed at the T4 base to provide air coverage for the facility.

A source familiar with the details, who spoke with the site, said, "Once the system is in place, the base will be renovated and expanded with the necessary facilities." The source added that the base will help Turkey establish air dominance in the region and support its efforts to fight ISIS, which is still active in Syria.

On Monday, during a briefing with reporters, a security official expressed concern about the possibility of the Syrian government allowing Turkey to establish military bases within its territory. "If a Turkish air base is established, it would harm Israel's freedom of action in Syria," the official said. "This is a potential threat that we oppose." (JPost/VFI News)

Three-Year-Old Girl Finds Canaanite Seal Where Bible Says David Battled Goliath

A three-year-old Israeli girl has found a scarab-shaped Canaanite amulet dating back some 3,800 years at the site of Tel Azeka near Bet Shemesh, the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) announced Tuesday, April 1.

Ziv Nitzan, from Moshav Ramot Meir, was hiking with her parents and two older sisters at the foot of the hill where the archaeological site stands when she picked up what appeared to be a small stone.

“We were walking along the path, and then Ziv bent down – and out of all the stones around her, she picked up this particular stone,” Omer Nitzan, Ziv’s sister, said in a statement sent out by the IAA.

“When she rubbed it and removed the sand from it, we saw something was different about it. I called my parents to come see the beautiful stone, and we realized we had discovered an archaeological find! We immediately reported this to the Israel Antiquities Authority.”

Tel Azeka is mentioned in the Bible as the location of the iconic battle between David and the Philistine giant Goliath (Samuel I 17:1). The site has been excavated for 15 years by researchers from Tel Aviv University (TAU). (TOI/VFI News)
